FOOTBALL MEDICINE ASSOCIATION

The Football Federation of Australia (FFA) recently established a Research and Development Department coordinated by Dr. Alan McCall and Associate Professor Rob Duffield and overseen by Dr. Mark Jones (FFA Head of Medical). They have produced a number of educational documents covering a wide variety of topics related to football medicine. These documents have been accessible to National Team, A-league and W-league medical staff to assist in providing best practice at the elite level.

Through the establishment of the NSW Football Medicine Association we are able to facilitate the dissemination of this education resource in a central "hub" to all doctors, physios, coaches, players and parents involved at all levels of the game.
